Face-to-face consultations as well as Telehealth and video Telehealth appointments are privately billed (except for DVA and concession card holders and children aged 5 and below), although some services are bulk billed. *
You will be charged for your appointment at the end of your visit. You will be charged the full amount for your consultation including any out-of-pocket gap fees. Our team will promptly submit your Medicare rebate on your behalf, with funds typically reaching your nominated bank account within 24 to 48 hours from Medicare.
*Fitness to Drive assessments, travel consultations and insurance & superannuation forms are not covered by Medicare and are subject to a private fee.
CANCELLATION AND NON-ATTENDANCE FEE
We understand situations may arise where you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment. If this occurs, we respectfully ask you to provide a minimum of 4 hours notice before your appointment by cancelling your appointment via our online booking system or phoning our practice. We will happily reschedule your appointment.
If you cancel within 4 hours or do not attend your scheduled appointment, a non-attendance fee of $50.00 will apply. If you have a cancellation fee, it will require payment before you can schedule another appointment.
Our doctors want to be available for your needs and the needs of all our patients. When a patient does not attend a scheduled appointment, another patient loses the opportunity to be seen.
